I am delighted to have join us this summer as the Lake Superior Chamber Orchestra opens its 39th season.
I am proud to be part of this vibrant cultural organization that seeks to expand the artistic boundaries and enrich the living quality of our community. I am grateful for our generous donors and patrons who believe the value in artistic investment. I am deeply honored to continue the great legacy of LSCO. Music is most powerful when it is shared. We welcome Gao Hong for the first concert! She is a nationally known Chinese Pipa player (a Chinese Lute) and will be playing the Tan Dun Pipa Concerto to start our season off.

The Young Artist Piano Camp is returning to Duluth and will be collaborating with the LSCO for our July 17th concert. The winner of the Piano Camp concerto competition will perform their winning performance piece with the LSCO.

We welcome Derek Bromme and Strikepoint to our July 24th concert! Performing the Heart Melodies Concerto with Handbells and Chamber Orchestra.
Mr. Warren Friesen, LSCO founder and Conductor Emeritus, will also be returning to conduct The Quartet Project and LSCO for their side-by-side piece during the concert.
